Virginia law (Section 55-511 through 55-525) requires that you provide the purchaser of your home with a statment disclosing that your property is located within a development subject to the Virginia Property Owners’ Association Act. The Act requires that you MUST obtain from the Winters Hill Property Owners Association a current, up-to-date disclosure package and provide it to the purchaser. It is not legal to provide the purchaser with a copy obtained from any source other than the Association. The purchaser may cancel the contract with three days after receiving the association disclosure package or being notified that the association disclosure package will not be available.
